Dr. Ritu Khare, MS MRCS FRCS (Glas) FACS
Breast Surgeon and Laparoscopic GI Surgeon
Dr Khare is a practicing surgeon in UAE for the last 19 years. She has done her master’s in surgery from KEM Hospital, Mumbai in the year 2000 thereafter done her super specialization in gastrointestinal surgery from Sanjay Gandhi PGI, Lucknow. She is a Fellow of American College of Surgeons, and Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow.
She is a recognized member of the American College of Breast Surgeons. She has also trained in laparoscopic abdominal surgery from the Institute of Laparoscopic Surgery at Bordeaux, France. She has been a visiting faculty at Weill Cornell Medical Centre, New York.
She was the general secretary of the Emirates Society of Laparo-endoscopic Surgeons. She was commended for “Young Surgeon of the Year Award” at the Arab Health Congress in 2012. Dr Khare has been associated with various organizations in the UAE. As a female surgeon, she has provided service to the region and has been highly regarded in her field. She is an active member of the Emirates Society of Oncology.
