Associate Professor of General Surgery, Breast Oncoplastic Surgery
Dr. Julide Sagiroglu is a board-certified general surgeon and associate professor of surgery with subspecialty training and years of experience in breast oncoplastic surgery. She performs all aspects of breast cancer, cosmetic and implant-based reconstruction surgery. Dr. Sagiroglu has more than 30 years of experience as a physician. She completed her academic degree (MD) in İstanbul University, Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine, Turkey and then passed the ECFMG/USMLE examinations. After completing a remarkable period of study as a surgical research fellow at New York University, N.Y., USA, she completed surgical specialty training at İstanbul HaydarpasaNumune Research and Training Hospitaland obtained the Turkish Board in General Surgery in İstanbul, Turkey.
She obtained the certificate of training in breast oncoplastic and reconstructive surgery from the European Academy of Senology in Duesseldorf andVivantes Clinic Berlinin Germany, as well as from European Institute of Oncology (IEO) in Milan, Italy. She attended various surgical training programs in breast cosmetic and oncoplastic surgery, and correction of postsurgical defects, as well as laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Julide has performed more than 2,000 breast and axillary surgeries, including oncoplastic techniques at the Medeniyet University Hospital Department of Surgery in İstanbul between 2010 and 2021,she has been working in the UAE both in academic and private health sectors since 2021. She is an active member of numerous national and international surgical societies.
