IRAC is inviting individuals with Fibromyalgia to attend a free education session to learn about the concept of physiotherapy management and rehabilitation. It would be an interactive session including presentation / discussion / sharing your personal experience / clarifying doubts / to answer the conflicting information that you might find on the web.
Who will get benefit from the session?
This session is designed to help individuals diagnosed with Fibromyalgia,
- If you are interested to learn about the current evidence-based physiotherapy management of Fibromyalgia
- If you think that Information found on the internet or advise provided by healthcare professionals are NOT REALISTIC or NOT APPICABLE to your own scenario, as you tried everything.
- If you feel guilty about being idle
- If you are confused with an information overload from ‘google’
We will try to answer your queries related to rehabilitation rather than repeating information you might have already gathered from internet.

UK-Trained experienced specialist physiotherapist in Dubai
Girivasan has completed MSc in musculoskeletal physiotherapy with Merit from University of Birmingham, UK. He has vast experience (17yrs) working as a Senior Physiotherapist at Bon Secours Hospital, Dublin, Ireland and has recently relocated to Dubai. He emphasis on evidence-based practice take into account current international best practice. Girivasan is keen on constantly updating his knowledge in pain management and has advance training in manual therapy, myofascial techniques, dry needling, kinesio taping and electro therapy.
